The international dialogue between the Anglican Communion and the Oriental Orthodox Churches released a revised agreement on Christology last fall that has not yet received wide attention. The split between the Chalcedonian and non-Chalcedonian churches is the oldest continuing Christian division. Recent theological dialogues have often reached sufficient consensus on Christology, but ecclesial reconciliation is coming slowly.
